Aims:

• Organise a reshoot with the actors so that I can work on different areas which need to be changed or adapted.

Over the Christmas period had scheduled a couple hours where I would get the actors to do a few more shots which I could add to the music video storyline. This at first was a struggle to organise but eventually we succeeded and were able to get a lot more shots which will be used for the music video. For the reshoot I had decided I would make sure to include a range of different angles, shots and compositions to make sure that all connects with the original shoot, this will help to make sure that the continuity looks the same to agree with the original and preferred conventions of the music video.

During this photoshoot we were successful in collating shots which not only will add to the final music video but make them standout more and become eye catching and appealing for the audience with increased demonstration of continuity.

One of the main focuses during the reshoot included flashbacks of the previous friendship, before they came separated on different sides of the world this is so that I am able to relay to the audience the difference between 5 years before and present day and how they have changed and evolved during that time. This meant that we had to reshoot consistently a number of shots which we had already done but on this occasion they were together and not apart, this was so that we could display the change over the years. Furthermore, the different shots we needed to do included “travelling” across the world, to do this we used a moving vehicle and made sure to get the necessary shots which could be included in the final cut. Finally, I had to make sure that the final shot of the two actors meeting again at the door was neater and had a better feel of continuity so that it would be more appealing to the audience.
